Obituary for Gloria R. Gozum
On Friday, June 19, 2020, Gloria Romero Gozum, loving and devoted wife, mother of three and grandmother of four passed away at the age of 65.
Gloria was born on April 3, 1955 in Bataan, Philippines to Roman and Lolita Romero. After graduating high school she went to vocational school to learn how to sew and was a seamstress for over 35 years. On March 3, 1979 she married Conrado Gozum. They raised one daughter, Carolyn and two sons, Ryan and Adrian. She was also very proud of her four grandchildren Angel, Riley, DJ and Laelah.
Gloria loved to make rosaries and it brought her much joy. She also loved growing plants and flowers in the garden, especially orchids, plumerias, succulents and cactus. She enjoyed listening to music from Bon Jovi, Journey and various religious songs while relaxing in the backyard. She collected various angel figurines and loved to go shopping. She was known to be very thoughtful, generous, caring, understanding and always had an infectious smile.
She was preceded in death by her father Roman, mother Lolita and brother Wilfredo. She is survived by her husband Conrado, her three children Carolyn, Ryan and Adrian and her nine other siblings. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 7th at 10:00 a.m., at Saint Charles Catholic Church at 990 Saturn Blvd. San Diego, California.
